All I could see were trees. They surrounded the car on each side as we drove through windy roads. After a few turns and a bumpy path through colorful buildings and quaint log cabins, the GPS announced we had arrived at our destination. As we pulled up to the All Seasons Lodge in Heber, AZ, Matt and I gave each other a knowing glance and smiled because this wedding was going to be beautiful.
Matt and Jessica’s wedding day was nothing short of perfection. In the morning the sun shone bright. The All Season’s Lodge buzzed with excitement and happiness. Friends and family gathered, greeting one another with hugs, staring with amazement at the beautiful scene before them. As the pastor preached about not only having a destination wedding, but a destination marriage, vows were spoken, the clouds rolled in and thunder began to boom, but nothing could ruin this day. This was the beginning of their happily ever after.
I adore Jessica’s relationship with her parents. Matt and Jessica decided not to see each other before the ceremony, so she did a first look with her dad.
I love these moments. The few seconds after they’ve been pronounced husband and wife, walked back down the aisle and can actually enjoy a quiet moment.
This property was so pretty. We had to walk all over the place and take advantage!
Matt and Jessica, thank you for sharing such a special and beautiful day with us. We were honored. Your day will stay with us forever.
